Dresses by Popcherry

Hi all,

Today I'm going to introduce you to a new up and coming site called Popcherry! They are an Aussie based site that stocks the latest fashion at seriously amazing prices. Go check it out for yourselves, prices range from 20-40 dollars and every new item in is discounted by 30%! Psst, let me tell you, I have seen extremely similar designs in other online stores that sell for double the price of Popcherry's dresses. Not to mention they supply free express shipping every day. What a great deal!

Check them out here: Popcherry's website, Popcherry's Facebook, Popcherry's Instagram.

I was sent 3 dresses of my choosing and they promptly arrived in 2 days wrapped in pink tissue with a sweet note on top. Super impressed. And now I'm going to show you how I styled my new dresses from Popcherry!

1. Ladies who Brunch

This dress, aptly named Autumn Crunch, was one of the first dresses I picked out. I loved the color, print and neckline and thought it looked like something you would wear to brunch. Usually I wear short dresses, so this was a nice mature change for me! Somehow the just-above-the-knee length also made me look taller (always a good thing). From afar, Autumn Crunch looks like a simple shift dress, but as you get closer, you notice the circle neckline, keyhole detail and drop-waist finished with delicate pleats. The material is nicely silky and moves well with the wind. Overall, great quality!

I love the pastel orange color for Summer- it's so unusual. I also think this dress would look great styled more casually with brown boots and a cute floppy hat!

2. Fresh Florals

I love florals and am very glad the trend is transcending seasons. This dress is called Flowerlust  and is right up my alley- short, cute and bright. I love dresses with a high neckline and low back- I think it adds some sexiness and maturity to an otherwise youthful dress. Most importantly, this dress looks great with sneakers or brogues, which gives it a casual look suitable for Summer time. Pair with round sunnies for a retro look.

Somehow this dress reminded me of the song 'California Girls' by Katy Perry... It kept running through my head when we were shooting!

  • Windsor Smith brogues

The back also has a bow! So adorable! Love love.

3. Grecian Goddess

I contemplated for awhile over whether to get Serendipity as I thought it looked quite long on the model who is a fair bit taller than me. I decided to bite the bullet and get it anyway and hope for the best! Thankfully, it fit perfectly and I didn't look like I was drowning in it. When I saw it on me, there was no other option to how I would style it- white and gold all the way! I think this dress is perfect for a formal occasion without being too fancy. It is so beautifully simple, yet architectural with the fitting neckline, loose fit and undulating hem line. The only problem was that it is a bit sheer- so just wear flesh colored underwear. The end result screams class!

I did my hair in a side part, twisted it around itself and pinned it. I think this hairstyle really modernized the look! To make it even more interesting, you could braid the sides.

Overall, I was extremely impressed with the quality, service and prices of these dresses. A big thank you to Popcherry for these beautiful items- this site definitely has good things coming!

I hope everyone enjoyed this post! Thanks to Yanto for being so patient and taking these photos for me, we struggled quite a bit with the weather, but he has no experience with photography so I think he is learning very fast considering.

Happy Friday everyone!
