Etude House Play 101 Pencils for the Face, Eyebrows, Eyes, Cheeks AND Lips?!

Saturday, 26 April 2014

I just had to share Pony's new make up tutorial where she creates three makeup looks using ONLY Etude House pencils! The tutorial is called 'Play 101 Pencil Makeup' and she uses the Play 101 pencils in different shades to conceal eye bags, draw her eyebrows, blend eyeshadows, draw eyeliner, as blush and on her lips! I don't think the pencils have been released yet which explains why I can't find any information online.

I'm personally quite excited by this unique concept and would love to try out a few pencils when they are released! I think a coral color that can be used on the eyes, cheeks and lips would be very handy. Same with a ash brown that can be used on the eyebrows or as an eye shadow, eye liner and nose contour. I imagine these would be very handy for travel. Judging from the video, the product seems to perform really well- I was particularly impressed by the pencil concealers.

What do you think of this concept? Would you purchase these?

    1. Hi! I have a feeling it has launched already because I found it available to purchase here: http://kpoptown.com/etude-house/23489--etude-house-play-101-pencil-05g.html

Strange that I haven't seen any promotions from Etude House though. Maybe it's not globally available yet!

  3. I think the idea is interesting but I think most of the colours wont be suitable for the all-in-one purpose! Probably a brown or pink shade would work for both the eyes and lips/blush/contouring!
Such an impressive range of colors though!

    1. HI Alice! Yes I think this is the sort of product that I would use at first and then forget about with time. Or I would just start using them as eyeliners lol. I'm still very curious to try and at a price of $6, there's nothing stopping me ^^.

Of course! I shall go follow you on Bloglovin' now! Always pleased to meet new blogger friends.

But I have not shopped from their website before so I'm not sure about shipping. I'm sure the product will be available on bigger webstores soon though!
