Pink Make up Tutorial for Spring (or Autumn)
Thursday, 3 April 2014
Most people think of pink as being a youthful, girly color. Many also have the notion that you should not use the same color on your eyes, cheeks and lips. However I'm going to show you how to use pink shades on all three areas; the trick is to mix different shades to create a glamorous pink look!
The different shades I used: hot pink on my lips, pastel pink on my cheeks and burgundy on my eyes.
Lips- create a gradient lip using a pastel pink gloss and a hot pink lip lacquer.
Australis Mineral Inject Lip Gloss in Disco- all over the lips to provide a glossy, smooth base.
Stylenanda 3CE lip lacquer in Pink Boom- on the inner lips to create a hot pink gradient.
Eyes- soft matte browns add depth to the eye whilst the burgundy liner adds mystery.
Urban Decay Naked Palette- Naked all over the lid and Buck to define the outer V. Use Sin in the inner corners.
Graymelin Sharp Liner in Brown- draw a very thin line ending with a slight flick.
Stylenanda 3CE gel liner in Love- the cornerstone of this look, this color is perfect for drawing attention to the eyes! Use on the lower lash line in the outer half and slightly smudge it out.
Rosy Rosa eyelashes- Go long and flirty with the false eyelashes to enlarge the eyes.
Eyebrows- Go bold! I advise wearing your hair up to make the look more elegant. Strong brows will frame your face and draw attention to your eyes.
Visee Powder and Pencil- to create a thick, straight brow.
Graymelin 7 day Tatoo pen- to fill in the gaps where no hair dares to grow.
Skin- Keep the skin soft and velvety for this look.
Etude House Bright Fit BB cream- all over the face for light to medium coverage.
BRTC Jasmine Moist Pact- dusted over the base for an amazing glow and silky coverage.
Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks Blush #4- applied lightly over the cheekbones.
There you go- pink on the eyes, cheeks and lips! I feel very elegant when I wear this look and find it perfect to wear out to dinner dates.
Would you try this? Or is it too bold?
