Leaders Insolution Premium Care White Dressing Mask Review

Tuesday, 1 July 2014

This is the third mask I'm reviewing from this months Bntnews beauty box. So far I've had a great experience with Leaders Insolution masks and they are definitely the best quality masks in terms of sheet material and solution I have ever tried.

Today's mask of choice is the White Dressing mask from the Premium Care collection. I recently reviewed the Calming Dressing mask which was from the same collection.

The White Dressing mask targets: dark skin, uneven skin tone, 'blackness' (awkward claim) and blemishes.

I thought it would be a perfect time to try this mask because my skin was going through a rough phase. The one day I spent at Supanova Perth, wandering through crowds with heavy makeup plastered on my face for 9+ hours had more impact on my skin than I thought it would. No wonder my skin was so terrible 2 years ago when I used to cover it with heavy makeup every day to hide my blemishes!

My skin was dry, uneven, duller than usual and I had a giant acne scar above my lip from a pimple that popped up after the convention.

As with the Calming Dressing mask, you need to remove the two sheets of wax paper off the mask before sticking it to your face. As always, Leaders Insolution masks fit well, have minimal air bubbles and do not drip. Sit back and relax (or practice karate like I did) for 20-25 minutes for the mask to work its magic!

After removing the mask, massage the remaining serum into your face and neck. I waited 15 minutes after removing the mask to assess any changes in my skin. Overall I found my skin to be comfortably moisturized, but there was no dewy finish. Unlike the Calming Dressing mask, I did not have to top up moisture with extra cream. My skin looked very slightly brighter and more even which is impressive for 25 minutes. Unfortunately it's not obvious at all in the photos, but I thought I saw a difference in real life. You'll just have to take my word for it!

I quite liked this mask and would definitely recommend it for dull, uneven skin of any skin type. Overall I liked this mask a lot better than the Calming Dressing mask, and like it equally to the Collagen Lifting mask.
