An Aussie-Korean Wedding in the Summer Sun!
Saturday, 29 November 2014
My friends Tobin and Grace got married a few weeks ago in the sweetest and most laid back way I have ever seen it done. It was a beautiful mix of Australian and Korean family, friends and tradition.
Grace's family flew over from Korea for the wedding! I think they thought Perth was pretty but boring. Lol! I'm so glad Grace is back and they are happily married! Despite her parents opposing the marriage (he's a "foreigner"), love won in the end.
Enjoy the photos!
My dress was #20 from Sheinside!
Yanto is such a gremlin.
I love the hanbok, I think it's so adorable! How gorgeous is Grace by the way?
Grace and her now father-in-law sang a song for us and played the ukelele. The sweetest thing <3.
All the food and desserts were hand made by family and friends! These cupcakes and the shortbread were made my Yanto's little sister.
Our friend Beccy made the wedding cake!
Yanto made a speech and said that our children will probably look the same. Haha! This wedding was the most laid back one I have ever attended, but it had the most heart. Money doesn't make a wedding, love does. It was evident in the effort made by everyone to provide their skills to make the day wonderful.
If I get married, I would like it to be a destination wedding somewhere in Asia near a mountain. Everyone can wear hippy pants and then afterwards we will climb up the mountain, make wishes and set lanterns off into the night sky.
What will your wedding be like?
