Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Gel Review
Wednesday, 18 May 2016
So I started my new career and the past 2 weeks have been spent soaking up as much clinical and diagnostic knowledge as I can before I enter the industry for real. Cosplay and blogging (in particular) have definitely taken a backseat, but hey you gotta do what you gotta do! That being said, I am enjoying myself and this strange life journey. Bring it on!
Bntnews sent me the famous Nature Republic 92% aloe gel to test out this month and I welcomed it into my skincare collection with open arms. I reviewed the Comelyco aloe gel over 1 year ago and that tub lasted me a whole year! Check out that review here for my extensive list of uses for aloe gel.
Aloe is widely known to have powerful skin healing properties. Im a big fan of aloe and use an aloe vera mist daily before and after make up to hydrate my face!
The packaging and product is almost exactly the same as the Comelyco gel, except that the Nature Republic contains 92% aloe, whereas the Comelyco contained 95%.
The aloe is sourced from California and is certified organic- this surprised me because the product is extremely cheap!
The gel is incredibly cooling and 'slathers' on to the skin very well (so satisfying). At the moment I use it as a moisturising mask in the mornings when I have some spare time. After washing my face, I coat my skin with a thick layer of aloe gel and go about my tasks. If you have dry skin I recommend moisturising before applying the gel as it does produce a tightening sensation as it dries, locking in the moisture below. I leave it for 15 minutes to hours depending on my day and then wash it off with cool water. It really helps bring down any redness or inflammation from irritated pimples or scabs.
Aloe gel is a great multi use product and I recommend having a tub around especially during Summer to soothe sunburnt skin!
The Nature Republic aloe gel is easily available online for a super cheap price of $11-15 depending on the site. Simply Google "Nature Republic Aloe Gel" and get the cheapest/fastest shipping available to you!
