Klenspop Bunny 3 Color Green Circle Lens Review
Monday, 13 June 2016
In my opinion, green eyes are probably the hardest colour for asians to pull off. Somehow I even think purple/pink lenses look more natural than green, but I was intrigued when the lovely girls at Klenspop suggested their best selling Bunny 3 Color Green lenses for review.
The new packaging only fits two vials inside and keep in mind you do not get a free lens case any more.
The lenses are incredibly thin, almost the thinness of a regular contact lens, but boy do they pack a punch of colour! I expected them to barely cover my dark brown irises, but they are incredibly opaque. The end result is a stunning blend of yellow, hazel and bright green which gives my eyes a real pop of colour. The blending is also very natural (as natural as green eyes on me can look anyway) and there is only a light limbal ring around the edge of the lens which acts to slightly enlarge and define the eyes.
That being said, I found green eyes very hard to pull off with my tanned skin and black hair. I paired it with a neutral eye and orange lips because my logic was that red haired people often have green eyes, so I should try to incorporate orange into my look. I think it failed miserably! I look quite washed out. Buy hey, it's fun to experiment!
Comfort-wise, these are fantastic and as comfortable as silicone hydrogels due to the thinness. I barely noticed I had circle lenses in! I think these would be a great, natural pick if you have fair skin and light hair.
By the way, what do you think of the half bun hairstyle?
Overall, for the ridiculously cheap price of $7.20 USD (they are 60% off!), you really can't go wrong if you're in the market for a natural green lens. Get 'em here.
